Job Responsibilities:
Develop fundamental understanding of multiple business functions and related production systems
Responsible for designing application to meet performance-related goalsTroubleshooting as required to ensure application responsiveness and reliability
Interpret business specs to produce technical design documents
Code and unit test application enhancements per technical design
Establish relationships with key business constituencies
Help user community evaluate technical options and direction
Provide technical input to business areas as needed
Lead integration testing efforts and develop integration test plans
' Participate in testing hardware / software upgrades to assure minimal impact on application code
' Use standard processes, procedures and tools to develop code and move into various environments for testing
And deployment
Create and maintain technical documentation
Follow established programming standards, including naming conventions, formatting and program structure.
Use standard development tools, including editors,debuggers, version control, and bug tracking
Lead and participate in code reviews
At times, required to work outside of normal business hours, to meet project schedules or for project implementations.
Provide technical guidance to other team members, including developing standards and teaching techniques and processes.
Ensure projects adhere to applications / data architecture.
Accurately estimate own and others'(tm) project work
Consistently deliver according to commitments and project plan dates
